12 or 24V uninterruptible power supply units are usually used for the backup power supply of the router when the power is turned off. If there is no 220V input, they automatically switch to battery power at the output, and when 220V is present at the input, they automatically switch the output power to power from the built-in converter and automatically charge the battery. With long-term power outages and short-term power ons, conventional uninterruptible power supply units have a minor drawback that was not taken into account by all manufacturers and standards - they simply do not have time to charge the battery. Due to constant power outages and lack of sufficient time to charge the battery, Faraday Electronics proposes to make changes to the existing ASCH UPS. The new technology of dynamic charging will allow to direct the power of the power supply unit, which is not in use, to the charge of the battery. The technology involves physical changes to the existing circuit: removal of old transistors, replacement of resistors, reprogramming, installation of new transistors, calibration. The warranty period for modernized blocks will be 5 years.
Blocks can be upgraded from the manufacturer, contact the manager for details.
