The TWIST LG-RS485 RS-485 interface protection device against induced impulse voltages (lightning protection) is designed to protect video equipment from high-voltage impulse overvoltages in the line caused by electrostatic charges, lightning discharges, strong electromagnetic fields, high voltage.

For proper operation, the device requires mandatory signal grounding.
