Application

Designed to monitor the integrity of window and door panes in an apartment, house, office, shop and other premises. The DSC SIM-05 detector detects glass breakage using an electret microphone, which records the sound of a blow to the glass and the ringing from its fall.

Features

• The acoustic sensor of the device (microphone) is triggered only after receiving a certain sequence of sound signals: first a low-frequency sound of a blow to the glass, then the sound of broken glass itself. Thanks to this logic of signal analysis, the probability of false triggering of the sensor is minimized.

• Thanks to the large controlled area (up to 10 meters), one sensor can monitor several windows at once.

• Relay output NC 50mA/24V 27 Ohm.

• LED indication of the sensor status.

• Tamper on the device housing against breaking, normally closed, 50mA/24V 27 Ohm.

Installation features

It is recommended to install the detector in the direct visibility zone of the windows. If the windows are covered with curtains, it is necessary to install the sensor behind them or higher (for example, on the ceiling).
