The 19” 42U MGSE series server cabinet with tempered glass front door and back blind door is designed for organizing the switching node in office and server rooms. With two pairs of rails on the front and back and a load capacity of 500 kg, the cabinets can accommodate equipment with four mounting points, such as servers, a high-capacity uninterruptible power supply unit and shelves over 450 mm deep. The double-sided design allows you to install equipment from both sides, which doubles the height of the units, and to scale the network in the future, for example, only 18 patch panels can be installed in an 18U wall cabinet, and 36 panels can be installed in an 18U floor cabinet.

The depth of the switching cabinet is chosen based on the depth of the server equipment that needs to be placed in it. Three options are available: 675 mm, 865 mm and 1055 mm. The depth must be at least the depth of the server + 140 mm (the power cord protrudes 70 mm, 70 mm must be left in front of the front glass).

Although the 19” rails can be fixed close to the front or rear doors, room must be left for connecting cords and cable organizers.

The cabinet is delivered disassembled in 3-4 packages, each of which can be lifted by 1 person. The cabinet consists of maximally symmetrical parts to simplify the installation process. When assembling it, the installer does not think about whether it is top or bottom, right part or left. Exceptions are the marked 19” guides and fasteners of the front and rear doors. Thanks to the massive use of rivet nuts and cut threads, the cabinet can be assembled by 1 person (there are no joints that require a third hand). The accuracy of the positioning of the fastening elements allows you to tighten each screw immediately to the end, which eliminates the need to level or adjust anything and do the final tightening.

Cooling of the server cabinet can be realized by installing a ventilation unit consisting of 3 SUNNON fans (ordered separately), which is mounted instead of a plug. Each plug can be replaced with a fan unit. Fan units can be connected to each other with a C13-C14 cord (computer-monitor). Each fan unit can be connected to its own thermostat and arranged to cascade fan units depending on temperature. The fan unit is powered by a CEE7-C13 cord (a regular computer power cord).

The design has 8 welded nuts for mounting the legs, located in the corners of the vertical element of the frame, which allows you to install the switch cabinet to the server room and adjust the horizontal position. 8 fasteners are necessary in order to be able to place the cabinets close together (one leg is placed at the edges, the other is closer to the middle). 4 legs are included. To install the wheels, you need to make holes in the frame element yourself.
