Addressable fire alarm device TIRAS PRIME A (HW2)

The addressable fire control device TIRAS PRIME A (HW2) is the central device of an addressable fire protection system designed to protect facilities of any size. The device combines the functions of a control device and control of automatic fire protection equipment. The system supports up to 4,000 devices on one control panel, and up to 16,000 devices can be combined using a hierarchical network. Certified fire protection equipment according to EN54-2 standard.

Application
Tiras PRIME A (HW2) is used to organize a fire alarm system at facilities of various scales, from small to large enterprises. It is a solution for comprehensive monitoring and control of fire safety, including automatic fire extinguishing, smoke removal and ventilation systems. The Tiras PRIME A central device is responsible for control, monitoring and management of all system components, including fire detectors, automation and extinguishing.

Main features
• Expansion: Tiras PRIME A supports expansion up to 4000 devices, and with the help of a hierarchical system (up to 4 control panels) can include up to 16000 devices. The system is expanded using the AM-MULTI+ and M-LOOP expansion modules.
• Hierarchical system: from version 1.2.1, the connection of up to 4 control panels to a network is supported.
• Scenarios: up to 128 scenarios with up to 8 activation conditions and up to 16 actions for each scenario.
• Automation and fire extinguishing control: the “TIRAS 1X” fire extinguishing control system is used to implement the fire extinguishing direction, and the AM-OUT2R, M-OUT8R and AM-OUT1R+ modules are used for relay outputs.

Improved features introduced in HW2 version
• New interface for hierarchical SPE system: SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) communication technology allows to achieve significant results – up to 700 meters when using shielded twisted pair and up to 1700 meters when using specialized cable.
• Two built-in universal relays: four transistor outputs from HW1 have been converted to two transistor and two relay outputs, with the ability to work with communication line control.
• Coprocessor architecture for address interfaces: each address interface has a separate microprocessor, which relieves the load from the main one and improves performance.
• Selecting the address interface load mode. The basic mode “Long length” is suitable for long lines with a significant number of address detectors and low consumption – maximum load current 80 mA. “High load” with a maximum current of 160 mA is designed for connecting devices with high consumption.
• The “System Bus” address interface operating mode increases the exchange rate in the address interface by 4 times, which is important for complex automation scenarios.
• Support for LiFePO4 batteries, with adjustable charging current to provide reliable backup power.
• Transition to modern USB Type-C for better performance and connectivity.
• LTE support: M-LTE communicator support for 2G and 4G networks, with the ability to backup communication using two SIM cards and Ethernet communication.
• Support for P-IND PRIME A: new control and indication panel with color touch display and long-distance connectivity via SPE interface.
