FoxGate EC-SFP1000-FE/GE-LFP 1000Base-TX SFP 1000Mbit media converter with external power supply.
The EC-SFP1000-FE / GE-LFP media converter is designed for connecting network segments based on copper twisted pair and segments built on fiber optic cable.
When using media converters to combine two network segments, problems arise with automatic detection of communication breaks (for example, in STP protocols). The EC-SFP1000-FE / GE-LFP media converter supports the LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) function, which serves to monitor network connection errors. Control is carried out using network devices with a control function, such as network switches and routers.
Features:
• The media converter is designed for the use of replaceable SFP transceivers. This solution allows you to transmit data at a distance of several meters to 120 kilometers using standard SFP transceivers from FoxGate, STEP4NET and other manufacturers.
• The media converter supports work with jumbo frames up to 9K bytes in size, and also supports the passage of tagged packets according to the IEEE802.1Q standard
• The media converter is equipped with an external AC/DC power supply unit AC ~ 220V (~ 175-260V) 50Hz; DC 5V 1A.
