The TIRAS MBI-2 barrier spark protection module is a separate module, which, as part of the Tiras-P or Tiras-A control panel, is designed to provide fire protection in explosive premises with different categories of explosiveness. MBI-2 together with PPKP Tiras-P or Tiras-A and intrinsically safe fire detectors SP-4T Ex, SPD-2 Tiras Ex, SPT-Tiras Ex, SPR-Tiras Ex meet the conditions of GOST 22782.5 with ExibllC explosion protection marking. Metal case, two zones.

Characteristics of MBI-2:

• The module provides parameters of intrinsic safety of circuits:

- no-load voltage U0 ≤ 19 V;

- short circuit current I0 ≤ 130 mA;

- maximum external inductance L0 ≤ 1 mH;

- maximum external capacitance C0 ≤ 0.1 μF

• The total resistance of the limiting resistors in the signaling loop is 174 Ohms ± 5%

• Overall dimensions no more than 100×100×30 mm.
