Signal cable is used to connect sensors in security and fire alarm systems, access control systems. The function of such a cable is to transmit changes in signal level or resistance in the circuit, the conductors in it are not twisted - therefore it is not recommended to use it in networks for transmitting low-current signals. The cable is multi-core - consists of 6 wires with a cross-section of 0.22 sq. mm with insulation. All conductors are in a common sheath designed for operation at an ambient temperature of not lower than -30°C. It is recommended to lay the cable at an air temperature of not lower than +5°C. Additionally, there is a screen around the conductors designed to reduce the level of induced electromagnetic interference.
