The detector with sensitive photoelectric and electrochemical sensors reacts to the appearance of smoke and carbon monoxide in the room. When the critical threshold is exceeded, the detector generates an alarm signal and also turns on the built-in siren.

Before installing the device, you must register it with U-Prox and preferably test the keyboard signal level using the U-Prox Installer program.

Installation

a) Choosing an installation location with an optimal signal using the U-Prox Installer program.

The alarm should be placed at a distance of no more than 2 m from the U-Prox security center. Registration takes place at the minimum possible power to avoid the influence of neighboring systems that may be configured nearby.

The device cannot be placed:

- Outdoors or in rooms with unacceptable humidity and temperature

- In places with a high level of radio interference

- Near objects that can cause fading or shielding of the radio signal (metal, mirror, etc.)

- at a distance of 1 m from the security center

- In bathrooms, kitchens, showers, garages, etc.

- Near or directly above stoves, fireplaces, heaters, etc.

- In very high or hard-to-reach places. This makes it difficult to test or clean the alarm

- Closer than 1 meter from lighting controls, fluorescent lamps and wiring

- In very dusty, polluted rooms and places where insects gather

- Near (or next to) decorative objects, doors, windows, electrical outlets, lighting, communications, ventilation openings, etc., which may prevent smoke from reaching the alarm
