Fire smoke detector IPK-8/1 (ИПК-8/1) is designed to detect a fire in a protected room, 4-wire connection, supply voltage (10-30) V, scattered radiation with relay normally closed output.

The functioning of the detector is based on the principle of control of radiation scattering on smoke particles. The detector uses a horizontally ventilated lensless optical system.

The detector has an LED for visual control of performance and alarm status signaling. During normal operation in duty mode, the LED blinks at a frequency of about 1 Hz, and when the detector is activated, it lights up constantly, which provides an indication of a local fire alarm.

The built-in function control node provides direct input into the sensitive zone of the optical system of the smoke simulator, which allows timely detection of any malfunction in the functioning of the detector.
