CYPHRAX Ethernet-RS485 V2 interface network converter for organizing PC communication with access controllers (connected via RS485 line) via Ethernet network (local area network). The use of this type of converters can significantly simplify and reduce the cost of installing the system at existing facilities, since there is no need to install an additional RS485 communication line, and you can use the existing structure of the company's local network.

The maximum length of the RS485 communication line is 1200 m. The length of branches from the RS485 line should not exceed 3 m.

As an RS485 communication line, it is recommended to use twisted pairs of at least the 5th category, such as UTP-5; in the case of using the converter at industrial facilities, where there may be a need to lay the cable parallel to the power cables, it is recommended to use twisted pairs in the screen (FTP cable).
