Electromagnetic lock YM-280IS(LED) with a holding force of 280 kg and a motion detector, a delay timer for 0.3, 6.9 seconds, an LED display, and a lock status detector. There are dry contacts for determining the state of the lock (NO, NC, COM). The IR motion detector built into the lock replaces the exit button: the lock unlocks when the sensor detects movement. WHAT IS AN ELECTROMAGNETIC LOCK

A magnetic or electromagnetic lock is a device for closing doors, the principle of operation of which is based on magnetic interaction. It consists of a case with an electromagnet and a corresponding bar made of metal with high magnetic permeability.

HOW THE YM-280IS(LED) ELECTROMAGNETIC LOCK WORKS

The electromagnetic lock is installed on the door frame, the corresponding bar - on the door. When power is supplied (DC12V/DC24V) – the lock magnetizes the corresponding bar, securely closing the door. In the absence of power, the lock unlocks, which meets fire safety requirements.

To compensate for the impact when closing the door, a rubber gasket is provided on the corresponding bar.

INSTALLATION OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC LOCK

Reverse bar

• Paste the stencil in the place of installation of the back part on the door;

• From the outer part of the door, drill a hole d=16mm (according to the instructions, but not all the way!), and two shallow holes d=8mm on the inside of the door to fix the corresponding bar;

• Secure the back by installing a flat head bolt on the outside of the door. Put a rubber gasket on the inside and install the corresponding part on it. Lock the nut with a hex key

IMPORTANTLY! Do not overtighten the nut of the corresponding bar - it should spring a little thanks to the rubber gasket, to ensure a tighter contact between the corresponding bar and the magnet.

Fastening bar of the lock

• fasten the fastening bar of the electromagnetic lock in the upper corner of the box, using the self-tapping screws from the kit.

• Attach the electromagnetic lock to the mounting bar and tighten the two screws (at the bottom of the lock) using a small hex key.

- (+) to the red wire;

- (-) to black
