Door closer RYOBI® series 3550 model DS-3550T BC SLD_HO (Japan), surface-mounted type with sliding rod - is designed to control internal and external doors.

Has adjustable tension of the internal spring (door closer class), which allows using a single door closer model for different door classes. Also facilitates adjustment of the door closer closing force without changing its position on the doors.

Completely controls the entire door closing cycle with separately adjustable initial and final shutter (slam) speeds.

Has an adjustable BackCheck function (wind brake), which delays the door opening after an angle of 70-80 °, which helps to avoid damage to the door, fittings, walls.

Has an adjustable DelayAction function (closing brake), which is triggered at large door opening angles, slowing the door down, allowing people with limited mobility to pass through or bring in loads.

The kit includes a door open position lock. When the door opens to the set angle, the closer works as usual, automatically closing the door. When opening wider, the door is fixed in the open position.

The body is made using high-pressure aluminum casting technology.

The internal mechanism is a rack-and-pinion type (Rack&Pinion), mounted on high-quality ball bearings.

Finish color - black paint.

The closer with a sliding rod is adjustable in the range of class 1-3 according to EN1154. By default, the factory setting is class 1 with a sliding rod.

The closer with a door open position lock cannot be used as part of a fire door.

The sliding rod gives the closer a more attractive appearance due to the absence of protruding elements, and also allows you to install the closer on any side of the door, either on the canvas or on the frame.

ATTENTION!

!!! Closers with a sliding rod do not allow the door to be opened wider than 105° - 130° (depending on the installation location). This is due to the design of the sliding rod itself.!!!

When installed on doors located outside the premises, the closer must be under a canopy to prevent moisture from getting in (the closer rod is steel).

When installing the door closer body on the door frame, in order to avoid spontaneous loosening of the screw that attaches the rod to the door closer body and, as a result, damage to the rod itself, it is necessary to use a Grover (included in the delivery set) and, it is recommended, a thread lock.

When adjusting the speed valves (available on all models) of the door closers, as well as the opening and closing slowdown valves (on those models where they exist), carefully monitor the degree of unscrewing (counterclockwise). The valve should not be unscrewed more than the plane of the door closer body.

Otherwise, liquid (lubricant) may leak from the door closer during its operation and, as a result, air may enter the door closer. This cannot be considered as a warranty case.
