RYOBI® 3200 Series Door Closer Model DS-3200T (Japan) surface-mounted type with sliding rod – designed to control exterior and interior doors.
Flat European-style design.
It has an internal spring tension adjustment (closer class), which allows you to use a single closer model for different door classes. It also makes it easier to adjust the closing force of the closer without changing its position on the door.
Fully controls the entire door closing cycle with separately adjustable speeds for initial and final closing (slam).
It comes standard with an adjustable BackCheck function (wind brake), which delays door opening after an angle of 70-80°, which avoids damage to doors, fittings, and walls.
The housing is made using high-pressure aluminum casting technology.
Internal mechanism - rack and pinion type (Rack&Pinion)

Finish color - white.
The tensioner is adjustable in the range of class 1-4+ according to EN1154. The factory default setting is class 1 with sliding rod.
Can be used in fire doors with a fire resistance limit of 60 minutes.
ATTENTION! According to international standards, hold-open closers are not allowed to be installed on fire doors (fire doors must not remain open). To comply with fire protection regulations, when installing a hold-open closer on a fire door, the hold-open closer must be removed from the pull rail!

The closer class is adjusted by tensioning the internal spring, without moving the housing along the door leaf, see instructions.

The sliding rod gives the closer a more attractive appearance due to the absence of protruding elements, and also allows you to install the closer on either side of the door, whether on the leaf or on the frame.

WARNING!
!!!Closers with a sliding rod do not allow the door to be opened wider than 105° - 130° (depending on the installation location). This is due to the design of the sliding rod itself.!!!

When installed on doors located outside the premises, the closer must be under a canopy to avoid moisture ingress (the closer's rod is steel).
When installing the closer body on the door frame, in order to avoid unintentional loosening of the screw securing the rod to the closer body and, as a result, damage to the rod itself, it is imperative to use a grover (included in the delivery set) and, recommended, a thread lock.

When adjusting the speed valves (available on all models), the tensioners, as well as the opening brake and closing deceleration valves (on models where they are available), carefully monitor the degree of unscrewing (counterclockwise). The valve should not be unscrewed more than the plane of the tensioner body.
Otherwise, fluid (oil) may leak from the tightener during operation and, as a result, the tightener may become air-filled. This cannot be considered a warranty case.
