Door closer RYOBI D-2550 SILVER BC UNIV ARM EN 1-4 silver for doors weighing up to 80 kg, 1100 mm wide. Closing force - EN1-4. For external and internal doors. Has an adjustable tension of the internal spring (door closer class), which allows you to use a single door closer model for different door classes. Also facilitates adjusting the closing force of the door closer without changing its position on the doors. Fully controls the entire door closing cycle with separately adjustable speeds of the initial and final shutter (slam). Has an adjustable BackCheck function (wind brake), which delays the opening of the door after an angle of 70-80 °, which avoids damage to the door, fittings, walls.

The body is made using high-pressure aluminum casting technology.

The door closer class is adjusted by tensioning the internal spring, without moving the body along the door leaf, see the instructions.

The standard rod, the so-called "knee", provides two options for installing the door closer on the doors.

1. From the door opening side: the closer body is installed on the door leaf, the rod - on the door frame.

2. From the door closing side: the closer body is installed on the door frame, the rod - on the leaf.

The parallel rod bracket adds another option for installing the closer:

If it is impossible to install the closer body on the door frame from the door closing side (there is no space), the parallel rod bracket, the so-called "triangle" or "gusset", allows you to install the closer body on the door leaf on this side, and the rod with this bracket on the frame. In this case, the rod will take a parallel position to the plane of the door. See the installation diagram section

N.B.

When installing on the door frame from the closing side, to avoid spontaneous loosening of the screw securing the rod to the closer body and, as a result, damage to the rod itself, it is necessary to use a Grover (included in the delivery set) and, it is recommended, a thread lock.

When installing on doors located outside the premises, the closer must be under a canopy to prevent moisture from getting in (the closer rod is made of steel).

When adjusting the speed valves (available on all models) of the closers, as well as the opening and closing slowdown valves (on those models where they exist), carefully monitor the degree of unscrewing (counterclockwise). The valve should not be unscrewed more than the plane of the closer body.

Otherwise, liquid (lubricant) may leak from the closer during its operation and, as a result, air may enter the closer. This cannot be considered as a warranty case.
