Door closer RYOBI® series 1500 model D-1554 STD (Japan) overhead type - designed to control external and internal doors. Fully controls the entire door closing cycle with separately adjustable speeds of the initial and final shutter (slam). The body is made using high pressure aluminum casting technology.

The door closer class is adjusted by moving the door closer along the door leaf. mounting template included with the door closer.

Standard traction, so-called. “knee” provides two options for installing a closer on doors.

1. From the door opening side: the closer body is installed on the door leaf, the rod is installed on the door frame.

2. On the door closing side: the closer body is installed on the door frame, the rod is on the leaf.

N.B.

When installing on the door frame from the closing side, in order to avoid spontaneous unscrewing of the screw securing the rod to the body of the closer and, as a result, damage to the rod itself, be sure to use a thread locker (included in the delivery kit) and, it is recommended, a thread locker.

When installed on doors located outside the premises, the closer rod must be under a canopy to avoid moisture ingress (the closer rod is made of steel).

When making adjustments to the speed valves (available on all models), closers, as well as the opening brake and closing delay valves (on those models where they exist), carefully monitor the degree of unscrewing (counter-time arrow). The valve should not be unscrewed beyond the plane of the closer body.

Otherwise, liquid (lubricant) may leak from the closer during operation and, as a result, air from the closer may be brought in. This cannot be taken into account as a warranty claim.
