Door closer RYOBI® series 1200 model DS-1200T (Japan) overhead type with sliding rod - designed to control internal and light external doors.

European style flat design.

Fully controls the entire door closing cycle with separately adjustable speeds of the initial and final shutter (slam).

The body is made using high pressure aluminum casting technology.

Internal mechanism – gear-rail type (Rack&Pinion)

The sliding rod gives the closer a more attractive appearance due to the absence of protruding elements, and also allows you to install the closer on any side of the door, either on the canvas or on the frame.

ATTENTION!

!!!Closers with a sliding rod do not allow the door to be opened wider than 105° - 130° (depending on the installation location). This is due to the design of the sliding rod itself.!!!

When installed on doors located outside the premises, the closer must be under a canopy to prevent moisture from entering (the closer rod is made of steel).

When installing the closer body on the door frame, in order to avoid spontaneous unscrewing of the screw securing the rod to the closer body and, as a result, damage to the rod itself, be sure to use a thread locker (included in the delivery kit) and, it is recommended, a thread locker.

When making adjustments to the speed valves (available on all models), closers, as well as the opening brake and closing retardation valves (on those models where they exist), carefully monitor the degree of unscrewing (against the time arrow). The valve should not be unscrewed beyond the plane of the closer body.

Otherwise, liquid (lubricant) may leak from the closer during operation and, as a result, air from the closer may be brought in. This cannot be taken into account as a warranty claim.
