The Volter™ UPS-500VA uninterruptible power supply is designed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of household and heating appliances with a power of up to 300 W in the event of a 220 V main power supply failure or exceeding the permitted limits. The UPS-500VA backup power supply device automatically charges the external storage battery when voltage appears in the power grid thanks to the built-in charger with a charge current of up to 15A. The Volter™ UPS-500 UPS belongs to devices of the linear-interactive type of uninterruptible power sources. This means that as long as the voltage is within the permissible limits of 155-275V, the device stabilizes the input voltage. But as soon as the voltage drops or rises above the set values, the uninterruptible power supply switches to work from the external battery. When working from a battery, the UPS-500 generates a sinusoidal voltage of the correct form (pure sine wave) with a frequency of 50 Hertz (±0.5%) and a nominal output of 220V (±2%). Batteries of any capacity can be used to maintain an uninterrupted power supply, provided that the charging current does not exceed 15A. The device is made in a rectangular metal case, which allows you to use it in a desktop (or floor) version. On the back panel there is a socket for connecting the load, an on/off button for the sound signal. On the front part of the device there is a liquid crystal indicator of operating modes and the power and sound buttons.
