The Crow GBD-2 (GBD-Plus) glass break detector is the best solution for those who are tired of false alarms of glass break detectors. Glass breaking creates two sound signals, one after the other, in a different frequency spectrum.

The GBD-2 is designed to pick up these signals in the correct sequence to avoid false alarms. It does not need to be installed directly on the glass, its design allows you to protect several windows at once.

Two separate sensitivity adjustments for low and high frequencies. When glass is broken, the low-frequency component of the sound spectrum comes first, followed by the high-frequency component with a very short delay. With the help of separate adjustments, it is possible to ensure, on the one hand, a clear activation of the security alarm system, and on the other hand, to prevent false activations.

For correct operation, it is recommended to install the detector in the area of direct visibility from the windows. The optimal installation height is 1.8-2.4 meters from the floor level. The optimal distance from protected windows is about 4.5 meters. If the windows are covered by curtains, it is recommended to install the detector either behind them or higher (for example, on the ceiling).

The device is equipped with an alarm memory function. In case of its activation, the detector returns to its original position only after de-energizing and re-connecting to the power source. Protection against unauthorized opening of the sensor is provided by a tamper, the output of the alarm output and the tamper is "normally closed".
