The connector with a BNC screw screw connection is intended for connecting cables of the twisted pair type or coaxial cable to video cameras. It can be used to connect an analog video signal transmission camera over a short distance (up to 30-35 meters) without using signal receivers from video cameras.

The contacts have conventional designations: + (the central core of the coaxial cable is connected) and - (the braid of the coaxial cable is connected).
