The ORBUS CG12150 GEL gel battery is a type of battery in which the liquid electrolyte is brought to a gel-like state by adding silicon compounds to it. In such batteries, the electrolyte does not leak in the event of a shock and minor damage to the case. Thanks to the viscous state, recombination of gases occurs: water breaks up into hydrogen and oxygen as a result of a chemical reaction; hydrogen and oxygen ions remain in the closed space of the battery, combine and form water again; water is absorbed by the gel and the original volume of the electrolyte is restored. As a result, we get a battery that is not maintained, because the water in it practically does not evaporate.

The ORBUS CG12150 GEL battery is ideal for working on uninterruptible power supplies and systems with cyclic loads.
