The MERLION GL121200M8 battery is made in a sealed case using GEL technology. This technology does not use a liquid, but an absorbed electrolyte in a gel-like state. Such a structure is achieved by adding silicon dioxide to the electrolyte.

Safe for residential use, as the GEL battery emits virtually no harmful or dangerous gases and requires no maintenance throughout its lifetime.
