The intelligent signal repeater of the Ajax ReX Wireless repeater white security system increases the radio communication range of Ajax devices with the hub up to 2 times. It has a built-in tamper to protect against unauthorized opening and is equipped with a battery that provides up to 35 hours of operation without external power. The device is configured through a mobile application for smartphones on iOS and Android. All user ReX events are notified by push notifications, SMS messages and calls (if enabled). The repeater only works with Ajax hubs! Connection to uartBridge and ocBridge Plus is not provided.
ReX connects the hub and devices of the Ajax security system, supports work with sensors, the number of which does not affect the speed of alarm message delivery. Up to 99 devices can be connected to the Hub+ReX system; to the Hub Plus+ ReX system – 149 devices. The range of the repeater is 1800 meters.
The repeater increases the reliability and resistance to failures of the Ajax system - it unites the connected sensors into an autonomous group and, if for some reason the connection with the hub is interrupted, it takes control of the system: it receives alarm signals and turns on the siren.
Like the hub, ReX runs OS Malevich:
- A reliable ARM processor helps to solve critical tasks;
- the Cargo protocol ensures continuous synchronization of data with the hub;
- replication of information about the system is used for instant reaction to events;
- Free; the firmware is automatically updated to receive new functions;
- immune to viruses and exploits, which excludes interference with the firmware code;
- allows you to transfer data in an encrypted form.
Even when the power supply is turned off, the protection level of the object does not decrease: the built-in battery of the repeater allows the device to work autonomously for 35 hours. If you try to silence the wireless signal or open the case, the repeater immediately notifies the hub about the alarm.
The repeater is quickly and easily connected to the system: it is enough to count the QR code in the application, name the device, turn it on and select the devices that will work through ReX. The repeater is also attached quickly - in one movement using the SmartBracket and does not require disassembly of the case.
