The principle of operation of the detector is based on the detection of infrared (IR) radiation from a living being. Every living being, including man, is a source of infrared radiation. As soon as the detector notices such radiation, it analyzes the mass of the living object, and if it exceeds 20 kg, it sends an alarm signal to the central unit of the security alarm via radio channel. A special algorithm for processing the incoming signal provides an additional check of the object regarding mass and the presence of movement, to minimize false alarms from moving pets. Thus, the detector is triggered only when human movement is detected. Also, the detector does not respond to the movement of inanimate objects. If in the room, for example, a jacket falls from the hanger, or a draft opens the interior door, the alarm will not work.

The detector is equipped with an effective wireless radio communication system that uses message encryption and protection against signal hacking. This provides excellent alarm security against hacking attempts by intruders.
