What is the difference between F1 and F2 battery terminal

What is the difference between F1 and F2 battery terminal

Batteries AGM and GEL, designed for low-power equipment, are connected to it using flat contacts. The battery is connected to the device through a wire with a connector coming from the power supply circuit of the device to the terminal on the battery. The most common terminal sizes are F1 and F2.

The F2 terminals are slightly larger than F1. The battery with F1 terminals is compatible with the F2 connector, but if the F1 connectors are connected to the device, and the F2 terminals are present in the battery, you will either have to change the connectors (in some cases they can be opened) or choose the battery more carefully when buying. There are also adapters for terminals F1-F2.
